With winter just barely behind us and summer just out of reach, April, with its unpredictable temperatures and penchant for rain, is the perfect month for cardigans. The stiff, shapeless cardigans that at one time clothed the trendiest of girls, are now a thing of the past. Longer length cardigans with a relaxed slouch have quickly eclipsed the more boxy cardigans to become a new spring staple. With their lightweight fabrics and simple colors, these cardigans are perfect for layering which makes them ideal (if not necessary) for any spring wardrobe. This cardigan by Michael Stars is a quintessential example of the "spring cardigan." With it's breezy slub cotton fabric, slouchy sleeves, and extra-long length it can be paired with nearly everything. I'll take three please!
