Lately, I've been compulsive about keeping my nails trimmed and polished. I used to be a habitual nail biter but recently stopped thanks to the temporary use of gel nails. When I used to bite my nails I never worried about keeping them polished (what's the point of polish when your nails look like they've been gnawed on by hungry puppies?!). Since kicking the biting habit, my nails have developed an addiction to Essie and haven't been without polish for more than a few hours. Recently, I've coated my nails with Essie's Lilacism, Mademoiselle (which I'm currently wearing), and Jazz. While out and about today, I saw a girl wearing the perfect color for spring/summer - Essie's Mint Candy Apple. This color is light enough to be worn in the spring but spunky enough to carry into summer. I can't wait to coat my toes in Mint Candy Apple at my next pedicure appointment. What's your favorite polish color for spring and summer?

That mint green color is absolutely GORGEOUS. I can rarely keep up a manicure, but my go-to summer pedicure color is a punchy coral shade -- I love OPI's Cajun Shrimp!
